Affiliate
The Affiliate module is a built-in add-on that allows you to create a referral program for your clients. When clients refer new users to your hosting platform, they can earn a commission on the sales they generate.
Features
- Unique Referral Links: Each client gets a unique URL to share.
- Flexible Commissions: Support for Percentage (%) or Fixed Amount commissions.
- Commission Triggers: Choose whether to award commission on the First Order Only or Every Order the referred client makes.
- Referral Scopes: Target New Users Only (guests who register via the link) or All Users (including existing clients).
- Payout Management: Clients can request payouts once they reach a minimum threshold, which administrators can review.
- Automated Tracking: The module automatically tracks cookies and links referrals based on your configured Cookie Lifetime.
Configuration
- Navigate to Admin Area > Plugins > Modules.
- Find the Affiliate module and ensure it is Installed and Enabled.
- Click on the module settings to configure:
- Commission Type & Value: Percentage (%) or Fixed Amount.
- Commission Trigger: First Order Only or Every Order.
- Referral Scope: New Users Only or All Users.
- Cookie Lifetime: Duration (in days) the cookie stays active.
- Minimum Withdrawal Amount: Balance required before an affiliate can submit a withdrawal.
- Auto Approve Commissions: Choose whether to approve commissions automatically or require manual admin review.
Once enabled, clients will see a new Affiliates tab in their Client Area where they can copy their link and track their earnings.
